This policy covers creativeedgeoutdoorliving.com, the website of Creative Edge Outdoor Living, LLC, a Sarasota, Florida company that designs and builds outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fire pits, pool waterfalls, concrete countertops and stonework. What we collect
When you send the estimate form, we receive what you put in it: your name, your phone number, your email address, where the job is, the kind of project and your description of it, any other answers you choose to give, and any photos you attach. The website also records the date and time, the page the form was sent from and the internet (IP) address it came from.
How we use it
We use what you send to reply to you by phone or email and to work out an estimate for your project. If you give an email address, the website also sends you one email to confirm that your request arrived. We do not sell your information, and we do not give it to other companies for their marketing.
Where it is kept
Each request is saved in this website's database. Photos you attach are stored as files on the website's server, and the email we receive links to them instead of attaching them. A copy of each request is emailed to Creative Edge Outdoor Living's business inbox, which is a Google Gmail account, and the website sends its email through an outside email service. The website is hosted and maintained for us by Dietzen Development, which can reach the database and the stored photos in order to keep the site running.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets cookies and collects information such as your device type, your approximate location and the pages you view. Taps on the phone number or the email address are recorded too, as is the thank-you page opening after an estimate request. It does not receive your name, phone number, email address, message or photos. Google explains how it handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
Spam protection
The estimate form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps us tell people from spam software. It collects hardware and software information about your visit and sends it to Google. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to it.
How long we keep it, and your choices
We keep estimate requests while we are working with you, and afterward as a record of the jobs we have quoted. You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. When we delete a request, the photos sent with it are deleted from the server too, and we delete the emailed copy.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
